In Beyond Headcount, we explored how organizations can increase workforce capacity by looking beyond traditional headcount and focusing on three areas: human capacity—attracting, retaining and developing skilled people; emotional capacity—helping people feel engaged and supported; and cognitive capacity—reducing friction through better processes, technology and practical uses of AI. For road builders and heavy civil contractors, these are practical ways to strengthen the team you already have.

Our closing session shifted the focus from organizational capacity to personal capacity.
